THE DL ON THE ORDINARY'S NEW HAIRCARE!
By Alice Doleman, 24 June 2022

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA for hair, £11
#1: THEY FOCUS ON THE SCALP
A healthy, hydrated scalp = healthy hair. It’s pretty much as simple as that (yes, there’s a lil more to it but them’s the basics). Lots of other brands overlook the scalp, but NOT The Ordinary – even their first haircare drop features a scalp-saving-serving serum 💆 The Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA is a milky overnight serum (with hyaluronic acid and squalane) that works to create hydrated hair from the roots down. Love at first use – we promise!

The Ordinary Behentrimonium Chloride 2% Conditioner, £7
#2: GENTLE ON HAIR AND SKIN
Ever noticed you get little blemishes where your hair products have been? Us too. Often, it's cos we don’t rinse hair products off properly and they irritate or clog our skin. Well, not with The Ordinary, they’ve thought all about this (that's why they’ve earned the rank of ✨skincare saviours✨). Even if you forget to rinse them off properly, products like their Behentrimonium Chloride 2% Conditioner are super gentle on skin (and hair, ofc), while still packing the hydrating hit that we all need post-heatwave 🌞

The Ordinary 4% Sulphate Cleanser for Body and Hair, £7
#3: AVOID COLOUR FADE
Whether you’ve bleached, or gone for the trending (and uhhh-mazing) red hair like KenJen, often hair products can fade the colour you’ve paid a pretty penny for 😩 Step in, The Ordinary, with their Sulphate 4% Cleanser for Body and Hair. We’re not gonna get too sciency about it 🧪 but the ingredients are mild enough so they DON'T strip your colour, but DO give you a gorge (non-foaming, which means non-drying) cleanse! 10/10: would wash with again.
