Who and what are your sources of inspiration?
I am often most inspired by artists of the 80s like Grace Jones and Vanessa Williams. I just love their style and look up to everything they achieved.

How do you express yourself through colour and makeup?
By mixing and matching unapologetically! I don’t like to follow conventional rules; I like to take risks and it usually works out for me. Basically, I just like to have fun with it!

You're known for bold colourful makeup on Instagram. What’s your go-to look off camera?
It’s funny actually. Off camera, I rarely wear colourful hair or makeup – I like to keep it simple. My go-to look is simple brown eyeshadow, nude lips and a medium-length black wig with a fringe – it’s called ‘Goji’.

How did you create these Morphe looks?
I was inspired by colour-blocking, especially with the bright summer tones that are so on trend right now.

What was the creative process behind this look? How did you pick clothing and makeup that works together?
The main inspo was '90s sportswear meets classic'. Pairing a blazer with a sporty headband and shorts would seem out of the ordinary but, when it's put together with matching makeup, it works!

Could you tell us exactly how you created this look?
I used three different palettes for the three looks, respectively: the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette, the Everyday Chic Artistry palette, the Morphe x Nikita Dragun palette and of course foundation, eyebrow pencil and mascara all by Morphe.

What’s your golden rule for makeup application?
I avoid mixing cream and powder products, as the finished look doesn’t look as polished as it does when sticking to either all powder or all cream products.

How does Morphe celebrate self-expression as a brand?
With CoLoUr! And I applaud it! Morphe is a truly inclusive brand – that’s why everyone loves it, including myself!
