LET’S TALK ABOUT PACKAGING

Packaging. It’s essential when it comes to keeping your threads looking super-fresh as they speed their way to you, and we know that prepping them responsibly is just as important to you as receiving your bits in tip-top shape. Which is why, at ASOS, we’re making some big changes to how we pack your stuff.

So, let us (and by ‘us’, we mean our Senior Creative, Jess), show you exactly what we’ve changed and what we’re working towards. Keep scrolling for a two-part special on our packaging, the plastic we use and what we’re changing.
That’s only part one, though. There’s more BTS packaging news below...

'Why are we still using plastic packaging?' is a question we hear a lot. That's why part two of our packaging story is all about just that. Just for ref though, you can find the deets here too.

- Our plastic mailer bags have a lower carbon footprint than paper bags (almost four times lower) and as carbon is measured by weight, that's the same as 10 giant sequoia trees!

- The bags are 100% recyclable and you can recycle them at any supermarket carrier bag collection point.

- We can do that for you, though, just send any old packaging back with your returns and we'll recycle it for you!

- Your old packaging will then go on to become new packaging – that's circularity in action, peeps.

Our sustainability experts are always researching and developing more and more ways to make ASOS and our processes more sustainable so, watch this space!
