With colder days, central heating AND our next salon appointment still weeks away, our hair could probably do with some extra TLC right about now. So, whatever your texture, style or colour your hair is, we’ve put together an easy winter haircare guide with a little help from our friends at Bumble and Bumble, using the famous Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil range. They've even added a new mask, just in time for winter. Hydrated hair and healthy shine is right this way 👇

Step 1: Mask
Without those regular haircuts in the diary, chances are your hair is feeling extra dry, damaged, unloved or even frizzy (and maybe even all of the above). So, there's no better time to incorporate a weekly hair mask into your routine to restore its hydration and shine. New to Bumble and Bumble’s iconic Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil range, this all-new mask does a lot in a little: the formula softens, detangles and helps with frizz but without weighing your hair down. And – get this – it moisturises your hair for up to 72 hours! While you can use this mask after shampooing your hair, we love using it as a pre-shampoo treatment on dry hair to guarantee soft 'n' shiny strands in just a few minutes.

Step 2: Shampoo
When it comes to the winter months, you need a shampoo that’s going to work extra hard to keep your locks nourished (and that doesn't mean you need to wash your hair more either). Infused with a blend of six nourishing oils, including argan and coconut, this best-selling shampoo is the ultimate remedy if your hair is feeling dry, coarse and knotty. A lot more multi-tasking than your standard shampoo, it leaves hair looking seriously soft and protects it from further damage.

Step 3: Condition
Then, reach for Bumble and Bumble’s hydrating conditioner, a special multi-tasking formula that helps detangle, tame frizz and undo damage caused by heat-styling, the weather and colouring. The best part? Incorporating this nourishing conditioner into your haircare routine means you’ll help protect your hair from future breakage, too. If your hair is especially dry, leave it on for a couple of minutes longer in the shower and then rinse it off.

Step 4: Style
You might have never thought your hair needed a primer but, trust us, it’s the best thing to protect your hair before heat-styling. So, before you get out your hairdryer or styling tools, a quick spritz of this hydrating primer will help condition dry and brittle strands and protect against heat and UV damage (still just as important in winter). While it works for all hair types when you’re heat-styling, if you want to let your hair dry naturally and you have textured or curly hair, we recommend using the Bumble and Bumble Bb Curl Defining Cream on damp hair to enhance your curls and give them some extra bounce. P.S. the added butter and six oils will help to keep your hair extra hydrated, too.

And there you have it: a super-simple guide to looking after your hair this winter, cos you don't need a ton of products for shiny, healthy-looking hair, only the right ones! Look out, here come the hair flicks 💁‍♀️
