STAFF STYLE
HOW ASOSERS DO BACK TO WORK
By Ebony-Renee Baker, 6 September 2020
For those of us who are fortunate to have flexi work routines at the mo, this season is feeling a lot like back-to-school again. As lots of us have used up our OOO days on staycation situations, and with more of us are heading into work in the actual office 😱, it totally makes sense to re-jig our workwear-to-loungewear ratios for our new normal (sorry, we said it!). For inspo on your new 9-5 look, see what some of the ASOS staff members are rocking from the home office to the… office-office 💁♀ And don’t forget to shop their ’fits below, too.
Adessa (she/her), Buying Assistant
I’d describe my work style as Scandi-electric: I love simple shapes and styles, but I’ll always add a bright colour and print where I can. I generally wear relaxed and oversized fits, which is great for work because I always want to be as comfortable as I can – but with style. This denim dress and printed joggers is an office outfit that I’d wear for dinner afterwards, too.
Atiya (she/her), Digital Commerce Assistant
When dressing for work, my main priority is always comfort, so whatever I wear, I always pair with trainers. This ASOS DESIGN jumpsuit is just perfect for going back to work as it allows me to transition back in to the office without losing any of my home comforts.
Beth (she/her), Social Copywriter
I’m getting ready for my first day back at work with a simple white shirt (always a winner). After working from home for the past six months, I’m still not ready to wear jeans yet (lol), so I’ve paired it with some stretchy flared trousers and sneakers 👟 I'm so excited to be going back into the office, even just for one day! This outfit is also perfect for some after-work drinks in the park for a good catch-up.
