Chunky trainers that look more 3020 than 2020 might be top of everyone’s unboxing lists – but, sometimes, you just can’t beat a classic. Talking of, looks don’t come much more drenched in throwback vibes than the new Nike Blazer ’77 drop. We've enlisted the help of Brit-nominated singer-songwriter Joy Crookes to style out the icons – plus, keep scrolling for the full interview vid below.

Varsity visions

Mid-top Blazers go great with varsity-inspired looks because of the athletic heritage behind the shape. Good news, then, because Ivy League styles are a massive trend for late summer and early autumn. Head straight to the top of trend class by teaming runner-style shorts with a sporty crop top and an oversized shirt. When autumn rolls around, just swap out the shorts for some cropped super-soft joggers or your favourite mom jeans.

Dress 'em up

Dresses may have stepped aside for sweatpants for a lot of this year, but now’s the time to reclaim an old favourite. For an autumn-ready take on the classic T-shirt dress, slip a long-sleeve tee underneath for an extra cosy layer, and let the poppin’ pastels in your ‘fit – and on that Swoosh (*chef’s kiss*) – score big on the trend points.

From identity to power dressing, dream collabs and finding constant creativity... hit the vid below to really get to know Joy Crookes.
