Official fashion cities like Paris and Milan are cool and all, but recently there’s a new kid on the block vying for the title of most stylish town. Yep, we’re talking about Copenhagen – from the catwalks to the streets, the Danish capital is making a serious mark on the sartorial scene. Over the last few years we've seen a new era of Danish designers eschewing traditional Scandi minimalism in favour of a new eclecticism, with fashion-insider fave Ganni leading the way. Here, editor Hannah Baxter taps into the label’s cool-girl vibes with her Ganni check mini dress and cowboy boots. An ideal look for rainy August evenings, if you ask us.
Another Danish designer making waves ATM is Cecilie Bahnsen, and at Fashion Week the style set were showing their love in her couture-like creations. For now, we’ll be taking style notes from the influencer, opting for cargo pants (of which there are plenty this season), a mensy shirt, a white crop top and a bucket hat.
