DANCE IN STYLE WITH REEBOK
By Steven Potter, 16 January 2019

Now, dancing is all about expressing yourself and having fun at the same time, right? Well, your gear should channel that fun and fearless vibe. For inspo, check out Sophia and Nifé adding bold colour to an otherwise overcast scene as they throw some serious shapes. Their standout looks are ideal for adding that eye-popping edge to your class or gym sesh. Note: matching with your BFF is not mandatory, but recommended.
It’s not just a pretty look, though. The fabric also features Reebok’s innovative Speedwick technology, which helps draw sweat away from the body keeping you comfy AF as you bust a move. Likewise, that stretchy underband is not only ideal for living the logo lifestyle, but also offers a supportive fit for comfort. Plus, it prevents things from getting out of control when you're, well, losing yourself in the music. The back is constructed using an open-cut technique, too, so you can easily throw your hands in the air like you just don’t... we'll let you finish that part.

The sweat-wicking tech keeps you dry as you work out and allows you to simply throw on a jacket for a brunch-ready lewk. The trousers are cut in a wide-leg fit to enable extra movement, while the flowing shape means that comfort levels will stay high. The result? A perfect addition to your downtime outfit.
Here’s what Sophia and Nifé said about their reasons to move:
How did you get into dancing?
Nifé: My mum enrolled me into the musical theatre school, Stagecoach. I later moved to South Africa for two years and discovered other dance styles there, and when we moved back I got into street dance and finally found Afro! The rest is history.
Sophia: It started with me posting dance videos online on Facebook. When Instagram became popular, I started using that more and pages started reposting my own videos which led to me gaining more followers.
How does it make you feel?
Nifé: Dance, for me, is the most personal form of expression.
Sophia: Dancing makes me feel like I’m in my own world where I can do anything I want and that excites me.
What’s your favourite thing in your kit bag?
Nifé: My beloved speaker!
Who inspires you?
Sophia: Janet Jackson is a massive inspiration to me! I’ve been a fan since I was young. She knows how to move in a way that I can’t describe. I watch a lot of her performances, too.
