3 WAYS TO BOSS PARTY SEASON
By Eleanor Dunne, 11 December 2018
Suffering from party-season style stress? We've all been there. From your work soiree to a pub lunch with friends, each festive event calls for a different vibe – and getting your line-up in order can be a challenge. So, to get you sorted, here are some tips for three social-season scenarios.

The work party
How do you strike a balance between festive fun and work apropes? Say hello to the velvet suit. The perfect blend of profesh and party, this plush blue two-piece will give you the confidence to chat to anyone (even the CEO) – and then throw some shapes on the dancefloor afterwards. Up the fun factor that little bit more with a fringed bag and cute hair clips. Promotion, we’ll see you in 2019.

The pub lunch
A pre-Christmas pub lunch calls for a more casual ‘fit, but it’s nice to make more of an effort than your standard Sunday roast. While you might normally pair this check knit with jeans, may we suggest you try a leather skirt and black tights instead? You’ll stay cozy while serving some serious style (as they serve the mains). Thankfully, the skirt's belt can be undone a few notches if you get too full. Pass the spuds.

The night out-out
Hitting the town? This black look is a more minimalist alternative to holiday sequins, yet just as glam. As you can see, we are now fully on board with the short leggings trend (if Chanel is into it for SS19, then so are we). This bardot top is the short's perfect plus-one – and, for that extra festive touch, we've added some shiny accessories. It is still Christmas, after all.
