There’s a good chance you’re already familiar with Skate Kitchen, the all-girl skate crew from New York. In the last couple of years, the group of creatives, who bonded over their love of skating, have been celebrated by the likes of Vogue
for their inclusive, inspiring and empowering ethos. In September, their lives were taken from ramp to reel by The Wolfpack director Crystal Moselle in the eponymously titled feature film, Skate Kitchen
. The movie, based on the story of how the crew were formed IRL, is centred around Camille – played by Rachelle Vinberg – and her pals Nina, Kabrina and Jules. The mag team caught up with Rachelle to talk all things Skate Kitchen – read on for excerpts and find the full interview in the Party issue of ASOS Magazine, available here.
