After being turned away by fashion schools, Smith went ahead and started up his label back in 2010 regardless. Since then, he has built up an impressive following for his rule-breaking designs that celebrate the fearlessness and unapologetic self-expression of those who wear them.

On what his brand stands for...
Confidence and being completely unapologetic in who you are. It’s always about accentuating the body and this concept collection will reinforce that in an affordable and attainable way. There are so many different words I could throw out: self-love, self-respect, sex appeal, feminine, luxurious…


On working with ASOS...
I’ve had the creative freedom to do anything I want. The categories are incredible – I’ve always dreamt of doing shoes, bags, belts, glasses and socks.


On reworking his signature designs...
I love a good off-the-shoulder and I’ve introduced a bodycon zip-up dress in my previous collections. Novelty bomber jackets are a signature and everyone knows me for a good body suit. I’ve done shoes on my own but I’m offering them here in a new way – the boot’s taller, the strap sandal in satin… Not identical but similar to the luxury line.
