You know those times when you uncover a new failsafe (and totally unexpected) outfit formula? Well, naturally, we have to share a style tip when we find one – like this winning combo we discovered on a street-styler during Paris Fashion Week Men's. And, girl, checks and neon never looked so good...

On paper, it shouldn’t work – neon for every day, really? But it looks so good for so many reasons. This anonymous showgoer has brought her fluro board shorts into the brunch-appropriate realm by teaming them with simple, statement pieces: a graphic black T-shirt adds edge, while the masculine overshirt adds a grungy feel. The chunky sneakers and Nike bum bag slung around the body scream sports chic, before the oversized hoops and blingy sunglasses provide the final fashion finishes.
