Whether you're headed to a five-day extravaganza at some exotic European locale or keeping it close to home with a day rave at your local park, f estival season is well and truly upon us, so it's about time you get your festival Face + Body kit sorted.

So what are the beauty saviours that deserve a spot in your festival makeup bag this summer? Here are five festival-friendly hero products that I've tried and tested and are available on ASOS right now.

Saving face

Primer really saves your face when you're out all day and makes such a difference to your makeup's longevity (v important on festival days). This one from Too Faced goes on really smoothly and feels just like a moisturiser.

Sun smart

A quick spray of Pixi's Sun Mist SPF 30 and you're ready to go. It's clear so you don't have to worry about rubbing it in.

Shine on

My hair is always really frizzy so I use oil to tame it and make it shiny. Ouai's rose hip and shea oil can double up as a body oil too (win) and it smells lush!

Lip service

My lips always need some extra TLC when I'm in the sun all day – this lip oil by NYX is nourishing while adding extra gloss.

Colour queen
