BEAUTY TREND: GREEN EYESHADOW

One of the least serious but definitely noteworthy beauty trends to grace the SS18 runways was paintbox-bright eyeshadows. Models at Marni, Sies Marjan and Prada stormed the catwalks with playful swipes of cobalt blue, yellow, pink and green across their perfectly formed lids. It wasn’t just the fresh-as colour-block looks at the Tracy Reese presentation that sent us wild this season. The glam was very much on point, too. The best of the bunch? This sparking 7-Up shade which makes the perfect pairing for a classic all-white summer-night-out getup. Adding in some extremely extra earrings won’t hurt either.

The key to keeping this the right side of 80s fancy dress is all in the application. Keep the colour as bold as possible, concentrated in an area no bigger than 5mm. While it may not be SFW for your 9-5, we definitely think it’ll fly for pretty much every other event in your diary.
