Retro sunglasses – providing a punch of scarlet in all sorts of extra shapes. Just in time for festival season, here are three for every budget…

If in doubt, simple and straightforward does it. And it doesn’t get much easier to wear than these dark-tinted shades with a chunky retro frame. The oval structure is a universally flattering shape, plus the cherry red is a solid 60s-inspired shoutout. Combine with a cute printed neckerchief for instant warm-weather vibes.

The mention of coloured sunglasses may evoke images of Mary-Kate and Ashley in the most 90s shades of all time (tinted pink and blue in 1998’s Billboard Dad, of course).
