3 WAYS TO WEAR HEAD-TO-TOE PRINTS
By Maybelle Morgan, 1 May 2018
As the summer season approaches (hopefully), you’ll find that there’s no swifter way to deliver instant warm-weather impact to your looks than adding prints. But rather than a little sliver of fun, right now it’s all about embracing the loud and wearing it abundantly head to toe. From bright co-ords to 80s monochrome, here are three ways to style it up...

Clash of the titans
When you can’t decide on just one print? Throw out the rulebook and embrace the chaos. For your centrepiece, a co-ord that not only ranks high on the summery silhouette (a bandeau and straight-leg jean combo) but also the bright ceramic-style pattern. Here, it’s as much about the accessories as it is the main event: clash up the denim with a loud leopard-print shirt, tied across the body for true festival vibes. Then, a headscarf to dress up your ponytail (in retro polka dots, no less) and pearl-embellished sliders to finish with a fancy texture.

Colour-phobe? Here’s your friendly reminder that just because you’re going printed doesn’t mean it has to be bright. The same impact can be achieved through subtle means, just like this newspaper-print midi shirt dress from Stüssy. The teensy all-over logo is a welcome twist on spring prints, while a brown geometric belt with gold hardware will break up the longline monochrome getup. White technical sneaks carry on the fresh colour palette, and, for a jolt of colour, some rose-tinted perspex sunnies.

Spring fling
And what would spring prints be without some obligatory florals? But we don’t mind dipping into clichés for this ankle-grazing dress in silky baby-blues and blush tones. The perfect number to rock all your fancy warm-weather RSVPs this season, the flattering wrap shape, relaxed sleeves and fabric button detailing give it a truly £££ feel. To finish, add red-hot vinyl bow heels to give a dash of edgy appeal to all this outfit prettiness. Win-win.
