BEAUTY
5 ROSE-INFUSED PRODUCTS
By Lakeisha Goedluck, 28 April 2018
There’s no denying it: floral-scented beauty buys are the one. Whether you love the strong fragrance of lavender or prefer the lighter aroma of jasmine, products packed with plant life are always a treat to include in your beauty regime thanks to their smell and revitalising properties.

When it comes to rose-infused products, I can’t help but think: ‘Would a product flavoured by any other flower smell as sweet?’ And the answer is always a resounding ‘no’. Refreshingly fragrant and with moisturising, antibacterial properties, rose is where it’s at if you want your skincare routine to blossom this spring. So, here are five luxe products featuring the flower that I’ve tried and tested and are available on ASOS right now.
Floral face saviour
Skin feeling a little flat after that long, horrible winter we just endured? Same. But don’t panic, because Alpha-H has delivered a must-have moisturiser that’ll have your skin back on track. Featuring hyaluronic acid (the magical chemical that has beauty bloggers in a frenzy), this stuff will leave your face looking dewy-AF in no time. A couple of squirts on a cotton pad is all you need!
Going for gold
Now, when it comes to body creams, I usually go for your bog-standard cocoa butter variety. But in an effort to spruce up my skin, I decided to give this a whirl. Infused with soothing chamomile and aloe vera alongside rose, this stuff also includes real bits of gold. Yep, you heard that right. Prepare to shimmer all spring long.

Top-notch toner
In the beauty world, Rodial is something of a behemoth. Makers of outstanding products that always get rave reviews, this lightweight toner from the brand is no exception. Again, this concoction features hyaluronic acid, as well as dragon’s blood – the red sap of the Brazilian Sangre de Drago tree that is known to have antioxidant properties (so will help to keep your skin looking fresh). Just a couple of spritzes post-cleansing will have you good to go.
Fix it with flowers
To be honest, I’m not one to wear much makeup, but on the odd occasion that I do, I don’t want it sliding all over my face. So, if you’re after a primer that you can apply before or after (amen), MAC has got your back with this dream solution. A couple of squirts of this lightweight mist will have you sorted, trust. Oh, and did I mention it smells like springtime? Blooming wonderful.
MAC Prep + Prime Fix+, £19
Elemis = bliss
When it comes to legendary beauty brands, ELEMIS is way up there. I mean, if you’ve heard your mum harp on about how great its products are – join the club. This creamy formula is a bit on the pricey side, but boy is it value for money. With a distinct floral aroma, this cleanser packed with vitamins E and F will leave your cotton pad covered in grime. Yep, it’s that good.
