3 WAYS TO WEAR HAWAIIAN PRINTS
By Caroline Ferry, 21 March 2018
You'd be hard-pushed to feel grumpy in a loud, proud Hawaiian shirt, right? Right. Happily, those totally tropical prints are set to make quite the SS18 revival – bliss. Here's three new and improved ways to wear 'em now and all summer long...

Really runway
Print mashups sure are having a moment for SS18 with mixmaster Dries Van Noten pairing vintage florals with silky checks, and Margiela layering abstract flower corsets over watercolour silk shirts. Try it yourself with this Hawaiian-meets-leopard-print wrap dress, and if you’re feeling particularly fashion, add some striped mules to boot.

Flip out
Totally different to what you’d imagine a Hawaiian print to be, this very girly, flippy ruffle skirt is the daytime equivalent of last season’s much-loved 80s puffball mini. Wear with a denim jacket and sneaks while Spring is in town, then as a cover-up with a swimsuit and sliders all beach-season long.

Classic you
There’s a fancy new pairing which has just kicked yesteryear’s Hawaiian shirt-and-denim-combo’s butt. Team brightly coloured tailoring with your South Pacific shirting for a whole new, smarter upgrade. Extra points for matching the colour of your trews to one of the flowers on your shirt, obviously.
