HOW ASOSERS DO PUFFER JACKETS
By Maybelle Morgan, 10 November 2017
It’s officially wrapping-up season, which means you’ll be wanting to find something extra to layer on (that is until it becomes socially acceptable to leave the house tucked into your duvet – soon, right?). Puffer jackets are still very much on the agenda, adding that dadcore padding that’s so necessary for this time of year. Here's how the ASOS staff are getting on board…
Silver surfer
For that street-style aesthetic, always opt for metallics. Nicola goes all spaceman by clashing up a lime-green sweat with this tin-foil silver padded coat. Ripped boyfriend jeans add that real casual element and technical silver sneaks nail that stolen-from-the-boys getup.

Blue steel
There’s nothing like a touch of cool blue to inject some Scandi vibes into your day-to-day 'fits. Which is exactly what Yalda’s done, layering this cropped padded jacket over a black top and raw-edge mom jeans, finished off with chunky-heeled leather boots. The hardware beret adds edge to the look.

Tangerine dream
Expect all eyes on you with this loud, orange, high-shine puffer. Francesca keeps her look balanced by toning down the rest of her outfit: a black tee tucked into grey tapered trousers, with high-top Converse to add that casual feel.

Animal attraction
Go hard or go home, right? Take a leaf out of Rachele’s book and go full-on 80s with this animal-print-on-more-animal-print outfit. The key is majorly mashing up your colour palettes. A split leopard cami dress (in nude) is layered over mom jeans and a black top, and topped off with a disco-era turquoise puffer. Casj skater sneaks finish the bold look.

Pink lady
If your vibe is a lot more extra than your average puffer wearer, you might have met your match with this oversized hot pink number. Ever wondered what an XXXL lapel, asymmetric fit, tie detailing and ring hardware looks like all rolled into a fuchsia bundle of warmth? It's this coat. Alice keeps all eyes on the cover-up by dressing the rest down with skinnies and monochrome skate kicks.

Check up on it
Why should your upper body get all the warmth? Lottie signs up for 24/7 all-over cosiness with this longline drawstring puffer in moody tartan. With the bold injection of colour, keep the rest of your getup monochrome: a white ASOS x glaad& tee, vinyl trousers and fresh white Converse. Thumbs up.
