We know, we know, summer’s over and it’s not even nearly spring. But that doesn’t mean we can’t give florals a dusting down every so often, especially when they’re as legit as these AW17-appropes moody blooms. The key to nailing the look? Go for varying size prints but keep to a similar autumnal colour palette.

First things first, update Margaret’s summer-friendly gingham trousers and swap them out for this season’s well-loved heritage print, dogtooth. Gear up in high-waisted skinny jeans and tuck in a dark floral shirt in a men’s fit for a more relaxed style. Next, opt for ankle boots with oh-so-pretty embroidery (bonus points for the chunky textured wooden heel). Add a sturdy leather shoulder bag and gold hardware shades for optimum weekend strolling.
