THE RETURN OF THE HALF-ZIP JUMPER
By Joanna Kyte, 1 November 2017
The autumn catwalks have spoken and this season’s lineup of knitwear trends is looking pretty tasty. Exhibit A: The half-zip jumper. Kenzo is renowned for mixing things up, so it’s no surprise that the half-zip made a quirky appearance at the Paris-based label's AW17 show. This throwback detail was featured on cosy, block-coloured vests and contrasted with white, space-feel skirts and boots for a 1997-meets-2047 vibe.

Thanks to ASOS Insider Lesley, you can trial this knitwear trend du jour with pieces you already own. Start with an oversized zip-up sweatshirt and team with rolled-up, dark denim. Then, take your favourite pair of black sneaks and accessorise with fishnet socks and hoop earrings.

When it comes to selecting your trophy jumper, bright hues and ring pulls are a total winner. Layer this canary sweat from Charms with a printed roll neck and finish with a pair of mom jeans to achieve the highest autumn/winter status.
