So it’s officially autumn. But, contrary to popular belief, this doesn’t mean your wardrobe has to instantly resemble swaddling. It’s still pretty balmy and who better to give us some inbetween-season-dressing tips than one of the London street-style pack. Here’s how to recreate the look…

Yep, Londoners know temperamental weather. Windy, stuffy, rainy – we’ve seen it all. So we’re well into the layering credentials of this v. savvy Londoner, bringing the sunshine factor. The key takeaways are lightweight staple pieces in bold and bright shades or prints, mixed with some heavier-duty autumnal pieces.

How to do it

Dress for the weather you want, right? Clashing yellow tones (a citric lemon tee with egg-yolk drawstring trousers) make for the perfect base. Then weather-appropriate additions bring it home – a snug, 80s-style, leopard-print fur coat, plus chunky buckled leather shoes and a loud suede tote.
