WHAT ASOS GIRLS WEAR TO FASHION WEEK
By Joanna Kyte, 15 September 2017
We’ve well and truly landed in the autumn run of fashion month and tomorrow marks the start of London Fashion Week SS18. Whether you’re getting in on the action live in the capital or via the inevitable takeover of your social feeds, style inspiration is at an all-time high right now. Add to your mental pinboard with these five looks from our very own staff, wearing the steeziest new-season ASOS picks.

Blazin' squad
Get your paws on an oversized checked blazer this season and you’ll be opening up a wealth of autumn/winter style options. If you’re anything like Beccy, a funnel-neck, varsity knit with frayed denim will match your trend piece nicely. Finish with a pair of leather ankle boots.

Jungle fever
The 80s klaxon is (still) sounding and it’s calling you to a life of bold animal prints. Cop this D-ring-belted tiger-print dress, as worn by assistant buyer Georgia, and you’ll be firmly on board with the trend. You can style this statement with your most extra pair of knee-high boots.

Ruffle riot
If you’re after an AW17 front seat, get to know the historical blouse. Common features include high necks, floral lace, XXL sleeves and all the frills. You can dress your major blouse up with a pair of straight-leg vinyl trews and red patent boots, just like Sev.

On track
You can count your lucky stars that, this season, streetwear is still king and it’s looking cooler than ever. This two-piece block tracksuit nods back to – you guessed it – the 80s, and it looks fresh as anything when mixed in with a longline camel mac and Daz-white kicks. Props, Lakeisha.

Cosy cool
Dear everyone that spent last year stocking up on mega-90s puffer jackets... AW17 says you can keep 'em (yes!). The padded jacket is going nowhere and junior fashion editor Jo has a new-season update to share. Take your trusty cover-up (extra kudos if it reps chevrons) and pair it with a simple tee and camo trousers. Black Converse and layered necklaces will tie your style together.
