Posh parties. If you move in fancy-pants circles on the regs, you're probably a pro at reading between the dress-code lines. But throw a novice in the mix, like a mate you're persuading (bribing?) to come with you, and the chances are your plus one is screwing about what to wear right about now. Luckily, Sistine Rose Stallone (yes, Sly's daughter) offers up all the answers, via this one dress.

For starters, your friend will know nobody except for you so she'll want to look approachable (read: not too desperate for someone – anyone – to talk to her while you're busy air-kissing) so a sheer column dress in black is a way stylish but not-too-sassy option. The feather trim has got to be a conversation starter in itself, right? Tell her to throw in a cute handbag, simple sandals, plus preened hair and make-up and you've got yourself the hottest date there.
