In case it dropped out of your iCal, this week is movie royalty Reese Witherspoon’s birthday. So, it’s only appropriate that we roll right back to 2001 when Elle Woods (and Bruiser, ofc) first took #1 spot on our style-crush board.

TBH, Legally Blonde was the sweetest hour and a half of on-screen feminism to come out of the 00s and damn, did it have the badass fashion to match. This iconic Elle look is all about SS17-approved PVC (what goes around, comes around…) and letting your sunnies take centre stage with mega tinted lenses and, yeah, owning a pint-sized chihuahua. It’s officially the time to reach for hot-pink co-ords and clashing red accessories again. Snaps for all.
