Ditch your winter warmer, bag a blazer
By Daisy Keens, 23 March 2017
You've retired your winter warmer to the back of your wardrobe, and now you're prepping for your springtime steez with the deployment of a new see-you-through-to-summer staple. Standard. If you're in need of some outerwear inspo, look no further than the transitional jacket du jour taking over the streets this season: the blazer. Not too hot, not too cold – it's juuust right. Here's how to shake off the school vibes and style it out...

A* Alexa
You can count on Chung to keep it classic. Sporting a blue check blazer with some devastatingly good denim (that cut! that colour!), Alexa made a pretty strong case for the return of the Mary Jane while also ensuring all eyes were on her chic navy number. Note the contrast buttons and boxy fit. Top of the class, AC.

Business, meet pleasure
Breathe a new lease of life into your candyfloss duds by teaming them with a bulky grey blazer. Keep the fresh feels coming with some fishnet socks (they're not going anywhere) and a ruffle-heavy top. Business on the top, party on the bottom, amirite?

Suit yourself
Where Doina Ciobanu goes, our style diligently follows. Keeping her steez strictly profesh, Doina donned a buttery-gold blazer with matching wide-leg trews, adding a dash of off-duty with a contrasting blue roll neck. Remember this the next time you reach for your power suit.

Supersize me
Boxy blazers just got given the Vanessa Hong seal of approval and we are, in a word, obsessed. Make like The Haute Pursuit blogger and pair yours with sock boots and not a whole lot else. Keep your tee plain, your sleeves statement (ruffles = so necessary) and your shades sleek. The coolest.

Smart casj
We see your 'smart casual' dress code and we raise you this fire 'fit. Layering up your chill hoodie with a not-so-chill blazer is a legit way to wear these two SS17 faves (just ask Vetements), but wearing them with fishnets, patent boots and futuristic sunnies? Well, that's pure genius.
