By Maybelle Morgan, 6 March 2017
She’s your partner in crime, puts up with your questionable taste in hangover snacks, and brings the heat to your 'grams with your style squad of two. An ode to all the well-dressed BFFs out there, here are eight seriously amaze twinning looks from fashion month…

High tee
Subtle similarities can pack the biggest punch when it comes to you and your bestie, so take note from these ladies both repping statement ear bling, graphic tees, plus some seriously baller red boots. Burn.

Sugar coat
Spring’s finally here, which calls for some light-layer coats. Power duo, fash director (at InStyle Germany) Jan-Michael Quammie and photographer Tamu McPherson are bringing the freshness in SS17’s beloved trench and a bold check wrap. Colour co-ordinate the rest of your outfit to your cover-up for the win.

Space cowboys
Lower-half deets mean you can twin up but still look individual, and designer Eleonora Carisi and blogger Linda Tol have the aesthetic nailed. Go matchy-matchy with straight-leg jeans, pointy metallic boots and gorge grab-handle bags, but make it super-chic with your structural layer of choice.

Mom <3
The 90s were all about power-twosies: Kate and Naomi, the Olsens etc. But these street-stylers are making a case for one of the era’s biggest exports: very good denim. Pair your mom jeans with bright top halves (logo hoodie/boxy leather) and finish with cutesy ankle boots in nude or white.

Wall street
Enter the dream set-up for you and your work wife. Nothing says power like sisters Sylvia and Julia Haghjoo in inverted pinstripes (longline blazer and cropped jacket goals). Let the lines do the talking by keeping all other layers muted: think all-black everything and finish with some quality leather outfit plus-ones (bags and pumps).

XXL sleeves
For a subtle way to twin, the trick’s all in the finger tip-grazing sleeves. Celebrate the return of the mac in oversized shapes or let massive shirt cuffs bring the wrist drama. To seal the deal, add tapered trousers, oh-so-pretty earrings and some divine trophy heels, as seen on designers Giorgia Tordini and Gilda Ambrosio.

Girlie goals
Like velvet for your eyes, the pastel colour palette for this pair is the one <3. The girls bring the pretty in the floatiest, flounciest dresses known to mankind. Take it up a notch with cutesy cropped denim or pom-pom earrings in complementary shades to your mate's outfit. Too good.

Pink ladies
It’s a unanimous yes to pink, the shade of the moment, and these bloggers are making a case for v cute boxy cover-ups (in hot and ice, respectively). Play with the cropped silhouettes and add high-waisted, wide-leg trousers, plus some chilled flats.
