CATWALK TREND DECODED
One (shoulder) love in 2017
By Maybelle Morgan, 3 January 2017
Cool doesn’t even cut it, as the girls at David Koma SS17 took to the catwalk in hybrid chic-meets-goth get-ups. Sleek bardot tops were revamped with one-shoulder double straps and matched with leather straight-leg trousers and boots. Major goals.
Warning: not one for dinner out with the girls, but Bella gave us serious inspo with her Christina Aguilera circa Dirrty outfit. A statement one-shoulder top with side cut-outs were paired with lace-up everywhere trousers and pointed black heels. So noughties.
Try it on
Proof that asymmetric is so right for your day thing as well? ASOS Insider Shope bringing the cool with a knitted one-shoulder longline top. Take notes and keep the rest of the outfit plain. Case in point? Shope’s pinstripe trousers and fresh white sneaks.
