Gift her good

I've made this Elemis Flash Balm my travel moisturiser, as it is the perfect hand-luggage size. It smells strangely masculine, but works a dream, and my face feels really soft and hydrated – not at all sticky or greasy. I also keep the Cowshed Hand Cream in my bathroom now, cos it's quite fancy and makes me look like I have my life together when my friends visit.

Calendar Girl

I never use lip liner, but I decided to give this ModelCo one a go and it was so good! The colour is really natural (perfect for a first-timer) and it stayed on for absolutely hours. Convert. The Balance Me Eye Cream is also a total dream. It didn’t irritate my sensitive skin and dries quick enough so I can put my moisturiser straight on top. Double tick.

Advent-urous

I wore this Nude by Nature Mineral Foundation to a party and got tons of compliments on how ‘glowy’ my skin looked – something I wouldn’t expect from a powder finish. I just applied roughly with a bronzer brush, zero precision needed, which is great for lazy girls like moi. This MonuSkin Facial Oil has all the indulgent feels – it has that magic spa smell as leave my skin super-soft and surprisingly not at all greasy.

Fixer-uppers

This bunch of tricks will be permanent fixtures in my desk drawer from now on. The Philip Kingsley Hair Elasticizer has totally kicked my old dry shampoo's butt as no.1 volume-giver to my locks. Plus, these sweet Christmas nail stickers are on standby for all the seasonal parties I will be unprepared and underdressed for. Insta-festive!
