A WEEK IN WORKWEAR
How to French-over your m-f style
By Estelle Adjei, 17 April 2016
Meet 24-year-old Laurianne Melierre, lifestyle editor-in-chief at The O (the L’Obs magazine lifestyle supplement) who also hosts a radio show on France's Rinse FM. A lover of the 90s and Korean fashion, she's a pro when it comes to incorporating streetwear pieces into her work wardrobe. Pinning fingers at the ready...

Monday
Like Laurianne, show up to your morning meetings in a tailored sleeveless blazer paired with SS16 workwear hero, striped palazzo trousers. Add a pair of fresh white mules for a chic and (v importantly) commute-friendly finish.

Tuesday
Giving us a masterclass in proportion, the self-proclaimed sneakers addict paired her mint green New Balance with a midi skirt and neat cropped blazer. Laurianne's logo tee brings the colour – try yours tucked in for the office and knotted at the front for after-work drinks.

Wednesday
Ruffles are everywhere for SS16 and Laurianne couldn’t resist: she teamed her dress with white sneaks, a cute oxblood mini backpack and a pastel overcoat. For a fresh finishing touch, add a brooch as a pretty reminder that you’ve made it to hump day!

Thursday
Spring is for layering, so ditch the jacket and go for a long-sleeved tee paired with a lace dress (colour blocking at its best). Laurianne adds black sneakers, bright white socks and a sophisticated cross-body bag to run from the office to the radio station hands free!

Friday
Cos nothing says #TGIF quite like a ruffle skirt and top. Layered with a long-sleeved printed tee for instant edge, Laurianne adds heeled boots, peeping white socks and a mini bag. And finally, her black cap is the perfect quirky finish. Giver her a follow @laurianneme.
