THE ASOS CIRCULAR DESIGN COLLECTION

There’s a healthy dose of 00s nostalgia in this vibey beach set, for sure ( the Y2K halter neck 👀) but the fabric is properly forward looking. It’s made from innovative TENCEL™ × REFIBRA™ Lyocell fibres.* We’re just gonna go ahead and cut through the jargon for you – it's made from cotton scraps upcycled into cotton pulp then mixed with wood pulp from sustainably managed forests 😅 You end up with a virgin-quality fabric, which can be a tricky ask for anything recycled, so we’re def here for it 😊

Versatility. It's a BIG word in Circular Design. The more ways something can be worn, the better for everybody – like the beach set above. This transforming knitted number can be worn as a dress or switched into a separate top and skirt using the buttons down the middle. And it’s exactly that kind of versatility you need when you’re seamlessly moving from the beach to the bar 🍹 This dress has got you covered – no biggie.

Making things that last longer is another essential in Circular Design, so we've put this cute top through extra wash testing (the same as 30 home laundries 🧼) to demo its durability. Made with 20% recycled cotton, it’s gonna be your summer-’22 go-to, take it from us.

Nothing says summer vacay like a matching shirt and shorts set. What this one also says is ‘I’m 100% organic cotton’ 🙌 You’ve not only got a renewable fibre here, but it's been knitted with a technique that minimises yarn waste, too – super cool. Plus, it can be styled in more ways than we can count – ticking that versatility box yet again ✔️

Last but not least, if you want to upgrade your denim rotation, we gotchu! The jackets and jeans in this collection are made from 100% pre-consumer recycled cotton (that means using waste created during the making of the product, like fabric offcuts). In fact, they’ve been designed following circular design guidelines as part of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation Jeans Redesign Project*. Ta-da!
