ASOS STAFF STYLE: VIRTUAL PARTY LOOKS

Who would’ve thought that we’d be here, in spring 2020, connecting with all of our friends virtually... and virtually only?! By now, you’ve probs had your fair share of video hangouts and maybe even some online parties. They’re the perfect excuse to get gussied up and, TBH, bring your mood up too. Things may not be easy right now, but throwing on a party dress – and maybe even applying some glowing skin products – can give you just the boost you need.

So, we caught up with some of our ASOS staff to see what they’ve been rocking for their Friday-night hangs, and of course, they did not disappoint. The party don’t stop, right?

Anna, Trade Delivery Manager

My party style is very glam, so for virtual parties I’ve toned it down to ‘jeans and a nice top’ – it’s important to keep your top half feeling party-ready 😉 I wore this look for a Zoom quiz with friends and it was just as good as any Friday night!

In my family's household, we did ‘dress to feel good Friday’, where we had a BBQ in the garden while dressing to impress (each other). I went rogue and layered my sequin blazer dress with a leopard print mini skirt and a silver bodysuit 💅🏽. I went with my trusted Dr Martens to caj down the outfit.

I always wear bright colours anyway, but it's especially important for me during quarantine because it lifts my mood 🌈. I’m toeing a fine line between loungewear and getting dressed RN, and this blazer + trackpants look is a perfect example of that. Claw clip in the hair is a constant.
