INSPIRATION AND ADVICE
FRESH 'FITS FROM PARIS FASHION WEEK FW19
By Eleanor Dunne, March 7, 2019
After four cities and hundreds of shows, fashion month has sadly come to an end. Paris was our final stop, and as usual the City of Light didn’t disappoint. From Saint Laurent’s glow-in-the-dark wonderland to Karl Lagerfeld’s swan song for Chanel, this season was definitely one to remember. There was plenty of street style inspo on the go too, and we’ve sifted through the lot to bring you six of the freshest ‘fits to inspire your new-season line-up. Just keep scrolling...

Easter is on its way and this street styler looks like a super-stylish chick in this getup. Going down the pastel palette route, she sports a banana-shade co-ord, creating a tonal dream by pairing it with yellow sunglasses and bag. For the pièce de résistance, those heels add an unexpected flourish via a flash of red. Legend.

What happens when you take two of SS19’s hottest trends (snake and neon), put them on a longline tailored coat, and mix it with a minimal look? A lesson in how to cheer up a gray Parisian day (and elevate a low-key look). Another tip we'll be taking from this ‘fit? Add a statement scarf to your black bag for your SS19 accessories update. Genius.

Tie-dye is on our radar for SS19 and here Blanca Miró shows us how to do it in a super-fresh way. The top half is Woodstock meets surfer girl, while the bottom half brings us some Oliver Twist androgynous vibes. 100% into it.

After a sea of beiges and neutrals over the other fashion weeks, it was nice to see showgoers work some color back into the mix for Paris. The hottest shade this time around? Red. From dresses to full tonal get-ups like Brittany Xavier’s look above, scarlet ensembles took over the sidewalks — and we're not mad at all.

If the PFW streets are anything to go by, over-the-knee boots are officially back. LA Blogger Aleali May pairs her leather beauties with an oversized Mugler blazer with exposed stitching. To finish, skinny sunnies, a red lip and super-sleek hair make it a sharp AF affair.

Edgy leather coats, pants and dresses were also aplenty in Paris. To toughen up her button-up leather number even more, French blogger Camille Charriere has gone for some chunky lace-up boots and slick sunglasses. The result? A winning look you can wear all weekend, from the shops to the rooftop bar (once some warmer weather hits).
