5 OF THE BEST NEON KNITS
By Eleanor Dunne, November 11, 2018
There's no avoiding neon this season, and we're pretty happy about it. While it may seem a tricky trend to try, the easiest (and most fun) way to let some highlighter brights into your winter wardrobes this season is with a bold neon knit. Here, we bring you five of our fave ways to get involved.

That '70s show
If the throwback and neon trends had a baby, the result would surely be this colorful creation. We love us a retro pattern, and the banging color combo brings it very much into 2018. Wear this one with mom jeans and some minimal sneakers. Cozy days just got colorful.

Cardi P
We must admit, ever since Gucci brought back granny chic we've been all for a good cardigan moment. This one checks all the boxes — it's cropped, has gold buttons and comes in a sugary-sweet highlighter pink. Plus it’s a throw on, throw off kind of thing for when the weather/heating doesn't know what it's doing.

That new blue
Is this the infamous cerulean blue sweater from The Devil Wears Prada? The shade is similar, but this one is far from Andy’s pre-makeover style thanks to its chic statement sleeves and turtleneck. On the more subdued side of the neon spectrum, this baby would be perfect for work with a midaxi skirt over knee-high boots.

Green dream
Greens and yellows proved to be the most popular neon shades on the catwalks, as seen at Versace, Balenciaga and Prada. Kermit the frog may be an unlikely style icon, but we are so here for how this ribbed turtleneck takes his shade to new levels. This would add a nice pop of color to a plain black or gray suit, perhaps even in the office/job interview — if you dare.

There's nothing not to love about this multicolored, checkerboard knit. If your winter wardrobe is looking a little gray, this is guaranteed to give it a shake-up. Flip the script and pair it with printed pants for a wow-factor color clash. Mind blown.
