3 WAYS TO DO THE POLKA DOT CO-ORD
By Maybelle Morgan, December 27, 2017
The revival of the '80s means that retro polka dots have been coming at your wardrobe hard and fast for the past season. And if you’ve resisted up until now, you’re about to get some serious pressure in the form of this super-lovable monochrome co-ord in spotty denim. Wear it together for deep impact or as separates for a kitsch statement, here are three ways to style it…

Weekend away
It’s the freakin’ weekend and your plans involve chilling with friends, so your outfit needs to have comfy all-day stamina but still look the business, obviously. Enlist the help of the full-on co-ord, but take the pop-art edge off by pairing it with a graphic-print tee. Finish with chunky technical sneaks for a street-style vibe and a red beret for a pop of color.

Culture day
So you’ve managed to snag an afternoon off from festive obligations — whether it’s a fancy brunch or you’re hitting up an exhibition with some friends, this is the get-up. The white spotty mom jeans are perfectly offset with a Western-vibe collared red leather shirt. Add lace-up creepers for a grounded skate-ish look and finish with a timeless trench to smarten the whole thing up.

Dinner date
Your fancy PM plans just got a cutesy shake-up with this cropped denim jacket in polka dot. Go for the print clash by pairing the spots with a silky knee-length dress in electric-blue florals. Finish with cobalt sateen sock boots to amp up the color palette and drop diamanté earrings to up the dressy factor.
