Fur real
Cold weather calls for texture galore and as they’re both lush and cozy, velvet and faux-fur are the move. Laura starts with slim velvet kick-flares and amps up the snug-life with a cropped teddy-bear fur jacket with cartoon patches and western studding. Gunmetal toe-capped cowgirl boots finish the look.

On the fringe
If you’re not one to dive into a trend head first, a twist on a FW17 staple (the leather jacket) is the perfect throw-on solution. And we’re loving this cropped number with Hell’s Angels-esque tassels gracing the backs of the arms and the flanks. To keep all eyes on the fringe fest, keep the rest of your outfit minimal: mom jeans, a gray turtleneck and chunky black Dr. Martens all get the thumbs up.

Silver booty
And for a bold hint of the trend? Some seriously kick-ass cowgirl boots, complete with a sassy pointed toe, studded detailing in eye-catching foil silver — all peeping out underneath the hem of your favorite day dress. For Ruby, it’s an ankle-grazing floral tea number with ruffled sleeves and frilled hems. So good.

Lucky you
If you ever wondered what a space cowgirl looks like, this is it. Let’s break it down. '80s jacquard leopard print? Check. Space-vibes sheeny metallic? Check check. Embellished western badges? All the checks. Emma keeps all eyes on the center-piece in varsity white ribbed socks and chunky white hiker sneaks.

Getting shirty
The easiest way to get into the spirit? Slip on a silky wing-tip collar shirt just like Celia. The contrast paneling in earthy rich tones makes it so right for FW17, but clash up eclectic influences to make it modern. A white peplum midi skirt gears up the pretty but then chunky studded biker boots punks the whole thing up.
