Why head-to-toe candy-pink is major

The future is bright, the future is… millennial-pink. This summer, OTT is on the agenda and you’ll be rocking that rosé glow from head to toe. See how House of Holland made it legit, Gigi Hadid brought the glare and how you can put on your rose-tinted glasses…

The swinging '60s came back in full blast as the House of Holland models blazed a trail of raspberry pink down the catwalk for SS17. Two-pieces featured frilled crop tops and sweeping bell-bottoms, all covered in biscuit-sized sequin armor.

Like Anastacia, Aqua's Barbie Girl and Legally Blonde's Elle Woods all rolled into one, Gigi Hadid stepped out in a stop-in-the-street milkshade-colored outfit, with all the trimmings. A metallic cropped biker jacket was layered over a baby-pink tank and matched with sheeny skintight flares. The finishing touches? Pink-tinted shades and velvet pearl-studded platforms. A+ for effort.

Try it on

And now let’s take it down a level for actual IRL wear. In the prettiest sugared almond shade, this peplum-hem co-ord is perfect for anything from your fancy dinner parties to your wedding-guest duties this summer. Add metallic accessories (pointed gold flats and a teensy box clutch) for a winner.
