Your current white work shirt probably doesn't bring you out in smiles (understatement), but that's because it's not had an SS17 overhaul. Yet. Allow us to introduce you to this puffy-sleeved creation with long-length sleeves that tie at the wrists: so spot on for now, it's crying out for out-of-hours outings. Here's how to style...
3 WAYS TO WEAR
3 styling ideas for a so-hot-RN work shirt

If you're constantly on the move in your job, but you've got to still give an air of composure, this white shirt is here for you. Perhaps an Edwardian puff sleeve is a bit OTT for external meetings, in which case seek out a super-smart blazer (this boxy Prince of Wales checked option is <3), which you can pull your shirt cuffs out of for a sneaky style hit. Pair with regular work slacks, or if it's casual Friday, a stripe-leg smart pant and the freshest of kicks.
Post-work party vibes
We're not talking an all-out fancy fest (ain't nobody got time for that on a school night), but the kind of sitch where wearing your work gear just won't cut it. Keep your staple white shirt on and simply add awesome — which comes in the form of a trendy chintzy mini and an embroidered trench. Leave your loafers under your desk and switch in clompy boots to simplify all the elaborate prints. Finish with a gorge pair of drop earrings and wait for everyone to presume you've been chillin' all day (you look too damn good to have been in the office).
When your classic white work shirt is this good, it's worthy of the weekend. Layer your extreme sleeve under a monochrome (high five to checkerboard), asymmetric hem dress if you've got an event worthy of this much majorness. Then focus on the accessories: hoop earrings, a dinky bag and flatform sandals. Living for the weekend, indeed.
