CO-ORD LOOKS FROM THE 'GRAM
By Steven Potter, June 25, 2020
You’ve probs seen a lot about co-ords, recently, right? Well, there’s a good reason for that. Not only are co-ords a certified look, but a matching two-piece also makes getting dressed in the morning 100% easier. Why, you ask? Because everything already looks good together, and that means you only need to think about which kicks you’re going to wear. If you’re still unsure about the matchy-matchy look, we’ve scoured the ‘gram for a masterclass of co-ordinated cuts, and dropped our favourites right here.

The 'low-key, but very SS20' one
It might not look it at first glance, but this simple T-shirt and shorts combo has managed to land two SS20 trends at once. Pastels and acid-wash are both big looks for this summer and, as you can see, both are right here in co-ord form. As we’ve mentioned above, a matching look gives you more time to think about accessories – and that theory is perfectly demonstrated by the bright-white, summer-ready trio of socks, sunnies and kicks that accompany this look.

The loungeable one
Comfort’s been 🔑 for the past few months, so how could we not include the classic hoodie-and-joggers look? We don’t know why, but there’s something about matching up a downtime ‘fit that makes it feel a little more elevated. It looks just too good to just sit around the house in, you know? And that’s exactly why this combo has made it into our celebration of co-ordinated cuts – it’s comfy and feel-good in equal measure (and we’re all for that, ATM).

The smart-casual one
Further cementing their status as the cornerstone of any wardrobe, co-ord styles even slot nicely into smarter situations. Take this pique overshirt-and-shorts duo – we don’t think we’ve ever seen a co-ord more suited to date nights, BBQs... and any other event that might warrant a little more effort (with no effort whatsoever).

The workout one
The co-ordinated treatment doesn’t just stop at your everyday looks. Couch-to-5K? At-home workouts? Park run? There are plenty of two- and three-piece activewear co-ords available for those, too. It’s not just style over substance, though – you can expect all the usual techy deets, too, like breathable sweat-wicking fabrics. They’ve just been updated with matching prints that’ll have you dropping post-workout selfies like nobody’s business.
