HOW TO WEAR: ALL-WHITE STEEZ
By Lakeisha Goedluck, July 2, 2018
It’s common practice that as soon as the sun comes out, so do the paler pieces of clothing. Whether pastel hues or subtle creams, lighter colous are the way to go to protect yourself from the heat. So, if you’re feeling all-white ensembles this summer, here’s some inspiration on how to don the color from head to toe.

If you’re a streetwear aficionado, you’re probably used to slick track pants and half-zip jackets in bold prints. For SS19, why not take your aesthetic in a minimal direction and invest in an off-white outfit instead?

Don a long-sleeved top from Carhartt WIP on your top half, and pair it with denim shorts in a slightly different tone to keep your look uniform but not boring. Use a khaki belt to obviously divide the two halves of your ensemble and go full-on streetwear steez with your accoutrements — a check cap and all-black kicks should do the trick.

Let's face it: summer doesn’t always equal constant sunshine. As great as it is to roll out in your favorite short-sleeved shirt and shorts combo, sometimes it’s not always feasible. But just because you may have to don more winter-appropriate gear from time to time this season, doesn’t mean that you have to delve back into darker colors.

As shown here, opt for a waterproof half-zip in white to keep you cool but protected should the weather decide to chuck it down — it’ll be your go-to item for festival season, trust. On your bottom half, switch up your color palette and go for gray-blue joggers with a neon stripe. For extra style points, go for a pair of kicks in the same colorway as your pants. And to finish, pop on a pair of retro-flavored shades — it is summer, after all.

Dads everywhere, rejoice — sandals and socks are presently the footwear style to be seen in. Make like your paps with the rest of your outfit and opt for white picks with a fatherly flavor. Start off your getup with a traditional plain white T-shirt and layer up with a striped shirt — the kind your old man probably wears to work.

Down low, go for sporty Champion shorts — which your mom probably hates but your dad loves to wear around the house — and complete your aesthetic with that standout sock and sandal pairing. It’ll bring a tear to your dad’s eye, for sure.
