5 SLICK LOOKS FROM PARIS FASHION WEEK
By Lakeisha Goedluck, June 28, 2018
The penultimate leg of the SS19 menswear season took place in Paris last weekend. From Virgil Abloh’s star-studded debut at Louis Vuitton to Galliano’s first menswear line for Margiela, it was the key city to watch this season. And the street stylers in attendance certainly dressed for the occasion — so, take a look at our round-up of the steeziest guys spotted outside the shows.

On the down low
Fashion week is typically seen as a time to dress as ostentatiously as possible, however, sometimes going low-key is your best bet. This guy shows that less is more by going for a Scandi-inspired get-up centered around slate-gray, black and camel brown tones. If your grandfather took a liking to streetwear, we think it’d look pretty close to this ensemble — rocking a black cap that matches his graphic-print tee, he goes for a fitted check blazer, darted slacks and clean off-white lace-up sneakers. Extra points for that ultra-luxurious vegetable-tan leather bag.

Mint condition
In case you haven’t heard us harping on about this already, colorful co-ords are the way forward for SS19. This dude knows what’s up, as he’s chosen to sport a peppermint green two-piece. He clearly has a penchant for pastel-hued gear as he opts for a peach graphic-print T-shirt to pair with his set — check out how his tee expertly matches the color of his hair. For a laid-back finish, he ends his look with all black kicks, a casual tote bag and '70s-inspired shades. So smooth.

Attention to detail
At first glance, this guy also seems inclined to keeping his aesthetic simple, but he turns it up a notch with his selection of accoutrements. To begin, he goes for a cream T-shirt paired with chocolate brown darted pants for a minimal, straight-forward base. But he elevates his look by going for standout aviator sunglasses and an oversized bucket hat in the same color as his tee. On foot, he dons the much-hyped Balenciaga Triple S sneakers and carries all his essentials in an instantly iconic Off-White pouch. Atypical accessories, done and done.

For a sure-fire lesson in how to nail streetwear-meets-skatewear, look no further than this guy’s ensemble. His graphic-print long-sleeved top signals '90s skater vibes, but he switches up his style down low by going for slick belted side-stripe pants. Notice the subtle way in which he proves his sartorial prowess by matching the stripe detailing on his pants to the lettering on his tee. Alike several of the other street stylers in this list, he caps off his get-up with a set of old-school sunnies, before also adding a beanie and the highly coveted Nike BETRUE Zoom Fly kicks to his well-thought-out mix.
