ASOS INSIDERS: SPRING STYLE
By Lakeisha Goedluck, April 14, 2018
As winter has decided to outstay its welcome, you're forgiven if you don’t have your spring wardrobe in check just yet. And if you’re presently fretting about what to wear now that the sun has finally shown up, don’t panic — these ASOS Insiders are on hand to help you nail your new-season steez.

Bold colors reigned supreme throughout FW17/18 and @asos_ruddy is game to continue wearing standout shades for spring. Channeling the likes of Will from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, he’s all about that day-glo-drenched '90s hip-hop aesthetic. He kicks off his look with an iridescent-purple coach jacket from Billionaire Boys Club and tones down the effect of his outerwear with a pair of casual light-washed skater jeans. Accessories-wise, he keeps it in-your-face — check out that emergency-orange cap and those pastel-dipped Air Force 1s.

As he hails from Australia, @asos_jono is one to watch when it comes to getting style tips on how to dress for warm weather. Interestingly, here he goes for a winter-ready base layer but adds spring-focused pieces to his get-up. Jono teams a black top with corresponding trews then throws a light-washed denim jacket into the mix for a nice contrast. Notice how he rocks a red cross-body bag that he expertly matches to the Nike swoosh on his sneakers.

Luckily for him, @asos_trey is LA-based, so he’s accustomed to dressing for sunny days. In a similar fashion to Jono, Trey opts for a predominantly black outfit but keeps his layers light. He starts off with a simple tee and wears a short-sleeved gothic-floral-print shirt over the top — and carries on his penchant for patterning down low with a pair of monochrome pants. Careful to not overdo it, he finishes off his 'fit with white lace-up shoes and black aviator shades.

If streetwear is your vibe, @asos_luce is your guy. To update his style for spring, he’s infused his wardrobe with pastel-hued pieces. A staple gray hoodie and black cargoes form the foundation of his get-up, as he proves his experimental prowess with his accessories and topmost layer. He dons a light-blue coach jacket and a lilac beanie to signal that he’s ready for the season, and opts for a cross-body bag that matches the color of his pants. To round off his look, he goes for a spring favorite: a pair of boxfresh white sneakers. Too slick.

If you’ve got any trips lined up this season, then this 'fit from @asos_dennis may be just the inspiration you need. Captured while out and about in Vienna, he masters spring dressing and casual traveler style in one steezy get-up. To begin, he pops on a forest-green Stüssy sweatshirt that he pairs with burgundy cords — AKA last season’s much-hyped fabric. He throws on a crisp white denim jacket for a laid-back nod to the '90s, and dons a black rucksack and complementary Converse sneakers to add a utilitarian element to his look.
