In case you haven't noticed, sports and style are having a serious moment right now. Yeah, athletes who can dress aren't anything new — but lately, they're taking major risks off the field that are giving us all kind of sartorial envy. Case in point: NFL free agent Omar Bolden stepped out to New York Fashion Week in a series of strong looks. Check 'em out below...

Describe your style uniform.
My style uniform is free and bold, it's fun and eclectic. It's appropriate — and most importantly it's confident!

What's your style philosophy?
To always be myself regardless of other's opinions.
If you could have anyone’s wardrobe, who would it be?
Pharrell's — but I'll take A$AP Rocky's if Skateboard P's is taken.

There are brands that have clothes for everybody — find it or find a store that you love and stick to it when it comes to staple pieces. Network, look to cultivate relationships with cool stylists that you can work with that understand you and your fit. Lastly, go in search of the best tailor you can find and befriend them!

What do you think of style in the NFL?
I think style in the NFL is underappreciated and that because guys only have one game a week we don't get the recognition we feel we deserve. Aside from that, I love where the style in the sports industry is at. Guys are being really expressive and more than ever before proud to be the individuals they are.
What’s your advice to anyone starting out in the sports industry?
Take care of your body, take your health and line of work equally as serious. Enjoy the process, it's fun and will allow you to experience things people dream of and never take it for granted!
