Supersized T-shirts have been a go-to for a couple of years now, but how we're rocking them has evolved for FW17. No longer just a case of leaving them loose over skinny jeans for a proportion-playing contrast, recent months have seen the tuck, half-tuck and all kinds of leftfield layering come to the fore. Here's how the crew at ASOS HQ have been breathing new life into their baggiest tops.

HOW WE DO: OVERSIZED T-SHIRTS FOR FW17
By Lakeisha Goedluck, September 16, 2017
If you’re looking to play around with lengths, you'll want this style of longline, skater T-shirt in your sartorial arsenal. As stylist Ben demonstrates here, wearing your extra-long tee with a similarly lengthy vintage-style cardigan is an easy way to construct a slick, subdued ‘fit.
Pair with dark-wash skinny jeans and minimal plimsolls for a fresh, street-ready take on an old-school preppy vibe.
For an updated take on the simple white T-shirt, go for an oversized version with a subtle graphic print. Channel skater style by wearing a long-sleeved tee in a dark hue underneath for a nice contrast and strong layering action.
Take cues from senior editor Matt and keep the rest of your aesthetic clean by wearing stone-colored Dickies chinos and monochrome sneakers down low.
Another upside to owning an oversized tee is the possibility to experiment with textures. Here, artworker Seb takes it back to the '70s by wearing a long-sleeved velour top in a bold burgundy shade under his T-shirt.
He’s gone for classic tracksuit bottoms and much-coveted Air Max 97 kicks to really nail the trend. Extra points for matching your tee to your fanny pack.
Sad you’ve had to say goodbye to your popping summer palette? Let artworker Nawal show you how to inject some color into your fall/winter wardrobe with added longline skills.
Go for an eye-catching, stripy, long-sleeved top and an oversized tee with a simple, bright graphic. Team with baggy pants and vibrant socks for a fluorescent finish.
