His finest sartorial work may come in the transitional months, but Jamie Bell proved he’s proficient with summery steez, too, while heading into London’s Chiltern Firehouse with fiancée Kate Mara this week.

By "summer dressing," we don’t just mean shorts and sliders, but instead the successful handling of heat while curating a ‘fit that’s suited to more than just the beach. Here, Jamie Bell did just that, opting for lightweight threads that made him able to cope with the central London stuffiness and keep him neat enough for his fancy dinner.
A thin, waffle-knit tee provided a breathable start to his dinner duds, while some skinny green chinos added a touch of color to proceedings. His low-cut, black plimsolls — the perfect summer-friendly shoe — kept things simple on foot. The actor followed suit above the belt as well, by throwing on a slick black bomber jacket, which left unzipped provided an added casual edge. A classic finishing touch came via of a pair of sunnies.
