2017'S MOST STYLISH GUYS SO FAR
By Sam Higgins, July 6, 2017
We’re halfway through the year and we’re gradually starting to see the front-runners for the 2017 style throne break away from the pack. The competition is fierce and it’s still anyone’s to win, but we’ve taken a closer look at six stylish pacesetters and why they’ve made such an impact this year.

Kanye West
A perennial style stalwart, Kanye’s showing no signs of slowing down in 2017 when it comes to experimenting with new styles. Or new takes on old styles — we’ve seen the rapper-cum-designer revive the super-oversized '90s trend this year with great success. But, aside from that strong outing, Kanye’s business-as-usual attire has been as solid as ever, with Yeezy and Calabasas cuts aplenty.

Jonah Hill
Who’d have thought it — Jonah Hill becoming a leading style icon in 2017. The actor's been looking tighter than ever, maintaining a strong brand of Scandi-inspired minimalism. But this here was show of full hypebeast force from Jonah, piecing together a combo of uncoppable Palace x adidas gear with nonchalant style.

Zayn Malik
We’ve seen many iterations of Zayn’s style this year, from niche '90s rave Zayn to bar bro Zayn. But rather than looking indecisive, he’s actually nailed them all — none more so than Olympic-winning-hearthrob Zayn and his Opening Ceremony track jacket.

Jaden Smith
We didn’t think Jaden’s style needed much tampering with (it ain’t broke) but the Calabasas creative’s been following Kanye’s lead and stayed open to tweaking his signature style a bit more this year. He's swapped out his favourite skinny patched jeans and went for more relaxed, wider cuts, while also picking up on a few of SS17’s biggest styling moves — tucked-in tees and dad caps.

Lil Yachty
Being at the head of a fashion-obsessed hip-hop generation, it was only a matter of time until Lil Yachty started turning sporadic stylish outings into everyday occurrences. What’s most impressive however, is his ability to pull off some of the game's trickiest pieces with unrivaled coolness. Look at him, perching on a speaker on stage, full pastel boiler suit on, looking like the coolest high-school janitor you’ll ever find.
