3 NEW SPRING PASTELS
By Style Feed Staff, May 21, 2018
Blue skies, cherry blossom and the chance to freshen up your color palette — spring is in full swing. So we’ve pulled together everything you need to introduce some softer seasonal tones into your sartorial setup.

When it comes to adding pastel-colored pieces to your wardrobe, there’s no pressure to go overboard. In fact, it’s all about remixing your staple gear with lighter-hued picks to freshen up your aesthetic for spring. Stay on trend this season and go for a white revere-collar shirt with neat pastel detailing. Down low, go for navy checked pants to counterbalance your top half, then finish off your outfit with a pair of pink Converse to bring out the print on your shirt, and a slick pair of retro-inspired shades. If it’s a cool day, layer up with a lightweight navy overcoat in a similar shade to your pants.

Yellow is the No.1 color to back this season. Go for a denim overshirt in a buttercup shade to brighten up your look, but opt for dark-colored threads for the rest of your ensemble to balance it out. A floral-print polo should satisfy your spring needs — side-stripe shorts, monochrome Converse and chilled shades make for the ideal accompaniments.

Wearing two in-your-face colors at once isn’t for the faint-hearted, but if you can pull it off, it’s one standout way to prove your style prowess. Start off with a graphic-print tee in a striking emergency-orange shade and layer up with a pink overshirt. On your bottom half, select a pair of fresh white pants to tone down your get-up, and round off your look with pastel-blue kicks.
