STREET STYLE: LONDON FASHION WEEK
By Steven Potter, 20 February 2024

#1: COOL-GUY ENERGY
We saw a slightly smarter look this Fashion Week. Less sneakers-and-cargos, and more oversized-trousers-with-a-fancy-neckerchief, teamed with a return to smarter shoes. If you want to update your casual outfit this season, turn down the casual.

#2: KEEP IT RELAXED
Speaking of oversized trousers, almost all the outfits we came across on the streets of the capital were wider, more layered, and overall, a lot more slouchy. We probably don’t need to tell you that the age of the skinny fit is over, but after seeing these looks, we don’t expect it to return any time soon.

#3: WORKWEAR
There's no doubt that the winter temps are nearly over, but with the unpredictable British springtime on its way, a co-ord and boots might just be the answer. Are we currently dropping 'Timberland boots' into our search bars? We absolutely are 🥾

#4: MODERN GRUNGE
It's good news for fans of the edgy, blacked-out vibe: grunge is here to stay for SS24. The trend is staying fresh with a Y2K flavour though, pivoting to parachute pants and a smart blazer instead of 90s ripped denim or stripey knits. And let's not miss the pearl hair deets, too 🦪
