STAFF STYLE

ASOSERS DO BACK-TO-WORK STYLE

As many of us have used all our OOOs for some sweet staycation days, and others have started trickling back into the office and picking up those morning commutes, September is giving us major back-to-school vibes! But since our routines are not the how they used to be, our styles have changed a little bit, too. Maybe you’re wearing more loungewear to the office, or stepping up your workwear to feel more productive at home. Basically, the work world is your fashion oyster. For some inspo on some new office threads (cos good fash = high productivity, obvs), check out what some of our ASOS staff are wearing M-F and shop their 🔥 looks while you’re at it ⏩

When I’m in the office, which isn’t very often at the moment, I like to make sure I’m comfortable, because I’m always running around. But, I still like to look stylish as it makes me feel a bit more confident. I’ve been dying to show off this new ASOS DESIGN floral print shirt for ages. It’s gorgeous! I’d wear this outfit to work specifically on a day that I was planning on going for drinks afterwards. As I mentioned, my current work routine is split between the office and WFH, so I spend a lot more time at my laptop than I’ve had to previously, and comfy trousers are a must!

My back-to-work style consists of oversized t-shirts, skinny jeans and standout trainers. This tee is from the adidas Originals ‘adiplore’ collection, and I also had to get my new fave 70s-retro trainers (New Balance 327s) into this shoot, as I was counting down the days until they released. They’re the perfect iteration of a vintage runner brought into the 2020s. This is my transitional outfit for mastering the working from home/heading to the office and meeting friends for dinner look – definitely an essential for the new normal!

Like most people, I’ve been cutting out the commute and continuing to work from home (helping our customers, one parcel at a time 🤪). With the Live Chats rolling in, I'm staying cool and comfy in my Reclaimed Vintage tee and ASOS DESIGN joggers. A bold, graphic print will liven up any video call, ensuring you nail it every time, in and out of work ✨

Right now, I usually pop into work once a week and work from home for the rest. My work style is more scandi and minimal but I also like to wear shorts as much as I can in the summer to show off my legs – if you got them, flaunt ’em, right?! Here, I chose to wear this Weekday overshirt because it’s easy and super-minimal. I also have on a pair of Dickies 873 slim khakis, as they go with any outfit. I can either wear this for work or to the pub! Any casual meetings, really.
