As part of our ongoing Pride content this month, we’re hosting our very own drag brunch fundraiser! It'll be on IG Live this Sunday at 2pm, featuring some of the best kings and queens of the scene. And while you’re soaking up the amazing acts, you can also make a donation to Stonewall, the charity that works tirelessly to protect the rights of LGBTIQ+ people.

Since you probably won’t be going to a real brunch anytime soon – drag or otherwise – we suggest you really get in the mood and have your own one at home. Grab some sourdough, put those eggs in the pan, make yourself a Bloody Mary and come join us in some OTT outfits – cos why wouldn’t you? To give you inspo, here’s two outfit ideas that are as loud as the celebration itself.

Colour-block animal print? If drag brunches had a dress code (they defo don’t), this might just be it. After all, now’s not the time for your sensible black tee and trousers, oh no – extra is definitely the order of the day. Brunching from home does come with considerable perks, namely: staying comfy from the waist down with some very 90s drawstring shorts. Oh, and the fact you don’t have to wait at a crowded bar for your next drink, too. If you’re heading out after the digital-drag fun is over, that orange harness bag and retro sunglasses are perfect for chilling in a mate’s garden or at the park.

It is a drag brunch, after all – so why not go all-out and wear a full-on, dramatic dress? This gold sparkly number is giving us power-ballad-with-a-mimosa-in-hand vibes while you’re singing along with your favourite drag acts. And OK, those 15cm heels are tricky to dance in – but keep them on for the outfit reveal (and your first solo) and then just swap them out for your sliders instead. Are you ready to lip sync for your life?

So, see you at 2pm this Sunday on our IG Live where the best in the business will be showing their skills. Oh, and don’t forget to give them a follow on Insta for more amazing performances and to show your support.
